Glasgowbury are proud to announce that we have been nominated in the 2012 UK Festival Awards.
The Draperstown based event has picked up a nod for Best Small Festival and are also in the running under the Best Toilets category.
The nomination follows two close calls for Glasgowbury who were voted second best in the Small Festival category in 2010 and runner-up for the Grassroots Festival award in 2011.
Hopefully it’s third time lucky for the ‘Small But Massive’ event as we look to firmly establish Glasgowbury as a strong contender for one of the UK’s best events.
“We’ve just come out of what we feel has been one of the most enjoyable and exciting festivals yet,” said organiser Paddy Glasgow.
“Glasgowbury 2012 was a firm favourite amongst many of you who attended and saw some truly stunning performances and memorable moments that we will cherish for years to come.
