Province wide bus services launched

We are pleased to announce that Chambers Coach Hire are the official bus providers for Glasgowbury 2011.

The local service will run buses from throughout NI the evening before the festival. All you have to do is ring Chambers to book your spot! Contact the local team on 028 2764 1880.

Coming on your own? Travelling with a bunch of friends? Why not cut out the car and hop on a bus for ease and piece of mind.

Book a place and a bus will pick you up on Friday evening (July 22nd) and return you home safely on Sunday (July 24th). While in the festival arena you will also have unlimited free use of the shuttle bus service to and from the festival site.

A day return service will also take place from Belfast, leaving the city early on Saturday morning and returning later that night.

Festival organiser Paddy Glasgow said the initiative was one way of creating a positive environmental impact for the area.

“Thousands of people come to Glasgowbury every year and we want to make sure that they can get here safely and have the best possible time,” he said.

“With that in mind we’ve launched a service with Chambers that will get people here safely and on time to enjoy the festivities while also promoting public transport and having a less harmful effect of the environment.”

The services will run from all the usual hot spots such as Derry, Belfast, Coleraine, Newry etc but wherever you are just get in touch and a service will be arranged.

Most runs will be charged at £20 per person (which includes unlimited shuttle bus use within the festival arena).

In order to travel with Chambers you must book your place first. Do it now! Call them on 028 2764 1880.
