Six nominations in Irish Festival Awards

We’re over the moon to find ourselves once again nominated in the Irish Festival Awards.

After picking up four awards last year including the Best Small Festival and Best Line-Up crowns, Glasgowbury has been nominated in six categories for the 2010 awards.

Glasgowbury is in the running for:

  • Best Small Festival
  • Best Line-Up
  • Best Service Award
  • Family Festival Award
  • Social Responsibility Award
  • Best Toilets

You can vote for Glasgowbury at the Irish Festival Awards website.

Festival organiser Paddy Glasgow said he and the festival team were privileged to be recognised on a national scale for their efforts.

“It’s fantastic that these awards exist to honour the festival leaders throughout Ireland and Glasgowbury are over the moon to be considered on that level.

“It’s good to see a strong contingent of festivals from Northern Ireland now following suit at the awards and we look forward to celebrating with whoever wins.”

Voting in the awards takes place throughout December and January and the winners will be announced at the Dublin ceremony in February.
