Yep, it really is the G Sessions 5th Birthday
! And to celebrate the occasion we've lined up a superb
night's entertainment to get you in the mood to party !
With two releases’ ‘Back to the Handlebars’ and ‘Baby
Better Lady’ having been played flat out on the airwaves
on a host of radio shows throughout Ireland, Swanee River
are much-loved for the groovy soulful feel to their music
and are a welcome return treading the G Session boards
!
Also appearing on the night will
be Derry's favourite Supergroup featuring ex-members
of Red Organ Serpent Sound, Bam Bam & The Calling, The Subtitles, Room 31 & The
Free Radicals. Here Comes The Landed Gentry are a group
of misfits blending rockabilly, country, punk & blues
and are quite show-stoppingly original.
Before the bands begin, we'll be kicking
off the night with a wonderful look back at this year's
festival, when Bobby Gordon presents us with the now-annual
'Festival Documentary' featuring many of the bands, and
audience-related shenanigens. So come
on down and remind yourselves of the bits you missed !!!
