History created with HMV in-store gigs

Glasgowbury created history last weekend as the first festival to ever stage launch gigs through the HMV chain, where Glasgowbury tickets are on sale this year.

On Friday 18th June, LaFaro pulled one of the biggest crowds that HMV in Belfast has ever dealt with and subsequently proceeded to tear the place apart.

After the likes of Atlantic and a pre-watershed Chopper Is A Fuc*ing Tout played their part, the lads sat down for a signing session with their fans, selling many albums in the process.

The following day, Saturday 19th June, the youthful Wonder Villains pulled into HMV in Derry with tales of HD TV and a certain television hero.

Overcoming late technical glitches, the three piece, not to be outdone, proceeded to bootleg their wares from the back of the store resulting in a mini signing session of sorts.
